Monogram recently debuted a Column refrigerator door panel artfully conceived by style and fashion icon Zac Posen. With intricate details from the charcoal mirror finish to the fabric inspired details, Zac Posen’s door panel exudes sophistication that will help its owners realize the endless opportunities for custom design. The Monogram column is expertly engineered with LED interior lighting, autofill pitcher and WiFi connectivity.

The Monogram team traveled down to Orlando, Florida, for the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show last week to showcase our brand to an array of designers, retailers, remodelers, builders and architects. KBIS is truly breathtaking in how large of an event it is and how many people are in attendance. The convention showcases over 600 leading brands in the industry, engaging everyone in the latest trends in products, design and technology.
Not only did we have acclaimed chefs, but we also had globally renowned fashion designer, Zac Posen, cooking right alongside them and signing copies of his new cookbook, Cooking with Zac.
Attendees were ecstatic to not only meet Zac and get a signed copy of his cookbook, but also to hear about his plans to design a one-of-a-kind panel for our Monogram Column refrigerators. Stay tuned for more exclusive plans between Monogram and Zac Posen in 2018, as well as partnerships with craftsmen that epitomize the quality of our brand.
In addition to displaying the custom pizza peel made for Monogram by William Campbell of Anvil Goods, we had another artisan’s talents in a prominent, full-wall display that sparked a lot of conversation. The cast-iron pan covered wall was brought to us by Borough Furnace who sustainably handmakes their products out of recycled scrap iron. Partnering with these artisans supports our passion for craftsmanship, devotion to details and our commitment to Elevate Everything.
By partnering with some of the world’s most talented artisans, Monogram is creating a stunning selection of innovations that are truly unique to their category. As part of a new collaboration with Monogram, global fashion designer and cookbook author Zac Posen will design a Column refrigerator panel. This high-fashion accent piece created by Posen adds an element of intrigue to premium décor and serves as inspiration for how Column appliances can be uniquely personalized. This is the first of other exclusive projects planned with Posen this year.
Posen is a renowned fashion icon on the red carpet, worn by leading women, including Michelle Obama, Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman and Rhianna. Others know him as a judge on Lifetime’s mainstay “Project Runway.” Globally, Posen’s collections represent the most refined qualities of glamour, and now his signature style will be reflected in the kitchen.
“Zac Posen’s passion and pride for his brand make him the perfect ambassador for Monogram,” said Ed Mammorella, Monogram marketing manager. “It’s a bonus to partner with a designer who equally enjoys spending time in the kitchen as his latest cookbook, Cooking with Zac, attests.”
Monogram created a pizza oven so refined, we had to have a pizza peel created to match. Watch to see how William Campbell of Anvil Goods in Grand Rapids, Michigan, crafted this meticulously-made walnut and brass piece. As an expert carpenter and fifth generation blacksmith, William’s exquisite craftsmanship displays the same obsessive attention to detail as the oven itself.
