Industry Experts, Passionate Consumers Inspire New Hearth Oven

Monogram’s Hearth Oven has been a crowd favorite since it debuted in 2019, making restaurant-caliber, brick-oven cooking simple to pull off at home. Could a product so beloved really be topped?

The design team at Monogram, of course, had to try. And the result is Monogram’s new 30-inch Smart Flush Hearth Oven, a smartly retooled version of the original that incorporates new design elements inspired by industry-leading kitchen designers, chefs and home cooks.

A Focus on Function and Form

The new hearth oven, features elevated cooking temperatures for more rapid browning and a larger LCD touchscreen to allow for simple selection of preset cooking options. These upgrades make it even easier to perfect a pan of roasted vegetables, delicate frittatas, artisanal bread or Neapolitan-style pizza.

Enhancements extend to aesthetics, too. A redesigned case enables flush installation in a standard-depth cabinet, which allows for a low-profile, seamless look. The new version also offers expanded options for stacked and side-by-side installations with other Monogram appliances.

In keeping with the original hearth oven, this updated iteration continues to capture the performance of a wood-fired brick oven. Its electric heating zones combine the crisping performance of traditional wood-burning hearth ovens with the precision, ease and beauty of a luxury appliance. And its integrated ventilation system allows for easy installation, with no additional ductwork required.

Excellence Meets Innovation

The original Monogram Hearth Oven generated an outpouring of endorsements from chefs, consumers and industry experts. In response, Monogram designers — never inclined to rest on their laurels — tapped into this bounty of buzz to gain valuable insights.

“We are laser focused on gathering feedback from experts and passionate consumers and empowering that to fuel the design of our products. The new hearth oven is a prime example of that,” said Chris Naber, director of product development at FirstBuild, an innovation incubator launched by Monogram’s parent company GE Appliances.

“We hope that our owners will be able to expand their culinary abilities and create lasting memories as they share their amazing food with the people they love,” Naber added. “Our team of chefs, designers, fabricators and assemblers have this goal in mind with each new hearth oven that comes to life at FirstBuild.”

Monogram’s new 30-inch Smart Flush Hearth Oven made its first public appearance at the 2022 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in February, and is available to purchase now at retailers nationwide.
