“Elevated” Event Kicks Off Newest Monogram Experience Showroom

Suburban Philadelphia showroom allows hands-on experience for designers, customers

When Gerhard’s Appliances celebrated the grand opening of its Monogram Experience showroom outside Philadelphia last month, they wanted it to be a true experience.

And what an experience it was.

From the live cooking demos by acclaimed chefs to a special appearance by designer Matthew Ferrarini to a “Champagne Diva” offering glasses of bubbly via her custom gown, the 200 guests at the soiree were treated to an afternoon of luxury and revelry.

“There was something incredible to see, eat, drink and experience at every turn,” says Steph Gerhard, the company’s director of advertising and merchandising.

The Gerhard’s Monogram Experience Showroom in Malvern, Penn., is the first in the northeast featuring Monogram’s updated branding and newest lines, the Statement Collection and the Minimalist Collection. The completely renovated, 800-square-foot showroom features 34 Monogram appliances in a working kitchen. Located in the upscale “Main Line” suburbs of Philadelphia, Gerhard’s caters to designers, builders and homeowners looking for high-end, quality home appliances.

The idea for this showroom originated when Gerhard’s had a vision to create a luxury appliance experience in the region. Steph says Gerhard’s chose Monogram over other appliance brands because the company’s desire to “elevate everything” resonated with their clients’ needs.

“Monogram is truly the mark of luxury you can see and feel,” Steph says. “It’s an amazing product line we are proud to showcase.”

In keeping with the feel of the product, Gerhard’s wanted a kick-off event that was both elegant and memorable. Guests feasted on hand-rolled sushi and enjoyed craft beer and handcrafted bourbon cocktails while listening to a three-piece jazz ensemble. Nationally-renowned kitchen interior designer Matthew Ferrarini presented his thoughts on the latest trends in kitchen design. Rounding out the event were Mirror Man and Champagne Diva, whose metallic costumes reflected the stainless steel and brass accents used in Monogram products.

Among the products featured are the 30” Smart Hearth Oven, ideal for artisanal breads and the perfectly-baked pizza; the sleek 36” induction cooktop from the Minimalist Collection with glide-touch electronic controls and precise, rapid heating; and an array of refrigeration options with smart controls and built-in, integrated and customizable features.

Gerhard’s Monogram Experience showroom is now open to the public. Live cooking demos will be scheduled monthly. A dedicated Monogram showroom manager is available onsite to highlight the different Monogram appliance configurations, or for private appointments, which clients can schedule online.
