Each year, the National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA) selects 30 young professionals from the kitchen and bath arena who they feel are on the path toward greatness in the industry. The elite group will attend the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas where they will be tasked with choosing what they feel are the most innovative, trendsetting, and fascinating products coming to market in 2020 for the 30 Choice Awards.
This year, one of our own Chicago Monogram Design Center members—Mackenzie Elliott—was chosen for her work connecting designers with our brand. At Monogram, she develops relationships with designers and influencers and shows them how Monogram appliances fit their and their clients’ lifestyles. Elliott brings designers from across the U.S. to our Chicago design center to learn firsthand about Monogram appliances, design trends, and what consumers want and need from their luxury kitchens.
According to Elliott, being recognized by NKBA has solidified her beliefs about the importance of “taking risks and thinking outside of the box” within the kitchen and bath industry. She feels it’s what’s led her to her new role in the Thirty Under 30 program. “With this program, professionals from all areas of the industry come together to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge. They not only are able to learn from each other, but they are able to build ongoing relationships with current and past Thirty Under 30 participants,” said Elliott.
Those relationships will surely benefit Elliott in her career with Monogram. She’s a bit of a brand ambassador, touting the benefits of the Monogram brand to high-end designers all over the country, while helping identify how Monogram appliances uniquely fit into so many design styles. “There are many amazing luxury appliance brands in the market; however, Monogram’s focus on quality and craftsmanship have always stood out to me. The recent launch of our new Minimalist Collection and Statement Collection are the perfect example of such thoughtful design,” said Elliott. These collections are sure to be a hit at KBIS 2020.
And after spending all day promoting Monogram appliances, Elliott also uses Monogram appliances at home. She says, “… my favorite element of my kitchen is my Advantium speed oven. As a millennial who is constantly on the go, speed and efficiency is extremely important to me. Being able to cook a homemade meal six to eight times faster than a traditional oven not only saves me times, it gives me high quality meals in record time. Regardless of a client’s lifestyle, though, this is a product that I always recommend.”
It’s such a flexible, elegant choice for any kitchen, Mackenzie. We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations on being selected for the NKBA Thirty Under 30 class. We can’t wait to see what innovative products you select at KBIS this year.
