Today’s profile highlights Victoria Diaz with Bath & Kitchen Boutique in Miami, Florida.
SRFD: How did you become interested in design?
Victoria: When I was a young girl I was always moving furniture around, painting my room, adding decorations and I enjoyed doing it. Therefore, when it came to college it was easy to decide.
SRFD: Tell us about a recent project you really enjoyed.
Victoria: I was asked to design a funky TV entertainment center, which I had never done before. Thankfully with my amazing carpenters I was able to make this possible. We designers can come up with all kinds of crazy things but without the manpower it is impossible to do.
SRFD: A trend you’re over?
Victoria: Espresso color kitchens.
SRFD: A trend you’re excited about ?
Victoria: Old vintage woods being used in modern environments.
SRFD: What did you learn in Louisville?
Victoria: Bourbon, Bourbon, Bourbon. Just kidding! I enjoyed learning about all the American history in Louisville.
